He come to Stelkia Ranch for training when his owner was getting ready to put the her first rides on him and again later so he could get some miles under his belt. Fireball is now at home in Salmon Arm enjoying life as kids horse on the trails and getting ready for his new life in 4H.
Fireball’s owner wrote in….
“I bought a fireball wild off the range as a 4 or 5 year old. With a lot of help from Aaron and Stelkia Ranch over the years he is now a dependable riding horse for myself and my kids. Getting to know wild horses in this way has been an education that I didn’t know I needed as a horse person. These horses are the best example of ‘survival of the fittest’ that I have ever seen. His leg confirmation is perfect, his hooves are actually amazing to everyone that trims them. His teeth require minimal maintenance. He’s a rule follower, if I teach him something once, he knows it forever. In the herd he’s the leader, he’s smart, protective, I’ve seen him teaching my domestic horses things like how to forage in the snow. Fireball is technically my son’s horse, so I’ll be a return customer one day when my kids are more independent with their horses and I have the time to spend with a wild horse of my own. I think of this every time I see an update on Rooster online”
